Immediate preparation for Confirmation does not begin until 11th grade according to Diocesan Policy. At St. Mary and St. Joseph parishes immediate preparation begins in January of 11th grade and continues to Confirmation which is usually October of 12th grade. Many people find it easier and more productive to spend time in the summer preparing for Confirmation when most teens are less busy.
