Service Hours Reporting Sheet

Please share with us how you are living out the Gospel in your life – how you are “loving your neighbors” without getting paid to do it.

All 9-10th graders are expected to do a total of 10 hours of service (both in the parish and community. Confirmation students are asked to do 20 hours. (Note: Xavier requires service hours of their students, as well as all other Religious Education programs in the area.)

We are not asking you to put in extra hours if you are already doing hours for school, sports, scouts,….  You can simply write down what you did through those organizations - that all counts.

Notes:

-Service is when you serve others without pay

-Service does not include chores at your house (shoveling or painting or…). Those are family duties.

-Service does not include your participation in any recreational/extracurricular activities for yourself

(unless your organization is doing service for others or you are assisting with the extracurricular activities of younger youth..).

-Remember that at least 1 service activity is expected to be for your parish.

**Please see the backside of this sheet for ideas of service. Deadline for service hours is April 18.
